Button Down Shirt Workshop
For men and women!
Service Description
Join this 4 hour workshop and learn to make a button down shirt! In this class students will learn how to sew a tailored garment including: Sewing a yoke, button placket, and cuffs Installing buttons Inset sleeves Finishing stitches Students will choose between the following patterns: Friday Pattern Company Butano Button Up, Merchant & Mills All State, Thread Theory Fairfield Shirt, or Grainline Studio Archer Button Up. There are pictures of each pattern in the class gallery Sizes for all patterns vary but accommodate a variety of sizes: 00-34 and XS-7X. Students will need to prewash and cut their fabrics before class. Students will also need to have all interfacing fused and stay stitching complete before class. Materials are not included in the cost of the class. Students will need to purchase their pattern and materials ahead of class and can do so at our shop with a 15% class discount. Students need to be confident beginning sewers to take this class, with multiple garments under their belt. Sewing 101-301, Garment Sewing for Beginners Part I + II, plus one other garment sewing class is recommended to take this class.

Cancellation Policy
Adult Classes Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. Please not that we allow for one rescheduling of class within the terms of the cancelation policy. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. No transfers can be made within 7 days of the start date of a class. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Summer Camps Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 30-14 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series.
