Learn to make a patchwork duffle bag!

Service Description
In this 2 session class, students will learn to make the patchwork duffle by Knot and Thread Design. Students will be given the pattern ahead of class and will need to have all of their fabrics and batting cut out before the first session. In this class students will learn to: Piece fabrics together Quilt a fabric sandwich Work with a zipper Work with a bag pattern Sew with quilted fabrics Bind on curves Install Strapping The pattern is included in the cost of the class. Materials are not included and students can purchase materials at a 15% discount at our shop. This fabric can also be made with scraps—its a great scrapbuster! All scraps need to be a minimum of 4" wide and 3.5" tall. Students can also make non-patchwork version of the duffle bag or use what is called a cheater print. It is expected that students do the quilting of their project in between the first and second session of the class. Prerequisites for this class are sewing 101-201 and Quilting 101-201 or the equivalent knowledge thereof.

Cancellation Policy
Adult Classes Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. Please not that we allow for one rescheduling of class within the terms of the cancelation policy. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. Summer Camps Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 30-14 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series.
