Sewing Skills Workshop
Dig into the technical side of sewing in this three month course!
Service Description
Go back to school with SewBo (for adults!) in this informative and fun three month workshop. In this class, students will learn technical skills to level up their sewing game and take the intimidation out of more difficult sewing patterns. Our resident sewing maven, Katie Horney, will lead students once a month through a different set of skills. In this three month course, students will learn: · How to finish seams · Different types of pocket construction (including the ever-intimidating welt pocket!) · Various pleating techniques Each class will run 1.5 hours and materials are provided for class lessons—registration includes a $25 materials fee for the duration of the course. Students will need to have completed our beginning sewing series (101, 201, 301) or have the equivalent knowledge to participate in this class.
Cancellation Policy
Adult Classes Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. Please not that we allow for one rescheduling of class within the terms of the cancelation policy. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. Summer Camps Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 30-14 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series.
